Awards & Accreditation
ICARUS seeks to drive change through the recognition of business travel and meetings management environmental activity across the buyer and supplier communities. The organisation has therefore devised a set of awards to recognise both buyers and suppliers and a programme of accreditation to approve actual emission reductions by buyer organisations throughout the world.
The ICARUS Environmental Awards
These are undertaken via yearly submissions to ITM and judged by a specially selected panel of environmental experts and academics. Click here for more details or here to see a list of previous winners.
The ICARUS Buyer Accreditation Programme
There are presently four stages of accreditation an organisation which buys and manages business travel and meetings services can apply for to be recognised for environmental activity. Each accreditation level recognises the stage a corporation is at in terms of policy, behavioural change and achieving emission reduction. Click here for detail about each of the levels.
